Following a year of expansion and refurbishment at Bluebells Day Nursery in Partridge Green, we are very excited about our new baby room which can take six babies from the age of three months.
The baby room is lead by Janine, who has several years experience caring for and educating babies. Using her training she provides the under twos with opportunities to learn through their senses, providing them with treasure baskets to explore and lots of messy playtimes. Siblings are able to see their younger brother or sister during the day and engage in activities together.
The use of the outside is an important part of learning for all children, the babies have their own area where they can explore nature and develop their physical skills.
Janine feels children learn through exploring and investigating, she provides babies with a variety of activities to facilitate these both indoors and outside.
Janine’s philosophy in caring for babies is that the nursery follows the routine from home as closely as possible to enable a smooth transition for the parents, nursery and most importantly the child.
